You’re learning the card meanings and you’ve done a couple of readings for friends and family, but THEN WHAT?

Does this sound familiar?

  • You're finding it difficult to remember all the card meanings and info you're learning about tarot reading.
  • You do a reading and then can’t 100% tell whether it was accurate or not because you’ve forgotten the cards you pulled.
  • You don’t know whether you should learn the card meanings individually or practice as you go.
  • You know a bunch of keywords and spreads but you feel like that’s all you can do.
  • You struggle to practice tarot reading because you have nothing to ask.
  • You’ve done a couple of readings for one or two friends but you have no one else to ask.
  • The idea of offering free readings on Reddit fills you will dread.
  • You’ve tried picking a card of the day but struggle to relate it to your day and don’t know how to fix that or what else to do.

How are you ever going to master this whole tarot reading thing if it’s so hard to master the card meanings plus find opportunities to do actual readings and USE those cards, am I right?

I feel you. I really do.

What if it didn’t have to be that way?

What if I told you that you could:

  • Never run out of questions to ask
  • Be able to easily recognise patterns in the cards
  • Deliver accurate readings in a short space of time

You’re shaking your head in disbelief. How is that possible? Getting good takes practice and practice takes years and years, right?

Wrong!

The secret: keeping a tarot journal

A tarot journal is a place where you can record all your study notes, daily draws, readings, and tarot related activities.

I’ve been there where you are right now. I held off on starting a tarot journal for years! I was the most sceptical and laziest person when it comes to tarot journaling.

I didn’t even do card of the day for the longest time.

I did readings for myself and others and a couple hours after the reading I’d totally forget what cards I pulled. I only ever had a vague sense of whether I was accurate or not.

I had read about the principles of looking for patterns in the cards and how to weave a story from a reading but I kept forgetting how to do it because I would just let my deck sit on the shelf for weeks, and even months, in between readings.

The thing about any skill is that if you don’t use it you lose it! Tarot journaling is the best way to get you to practice tarot reading regularly and in the process, get better!

Here’s what happens when you start a tarot journal

  • You handle your cards every single day, infusing them with your energy and really connecting with them.
  • By physically writing things down you get better at remembering what the cards mean.
  • You have all your notes and most-used spreads in one place.
  • You can reflect back upon readings at a later date and judge how accurate they were.
  • Being able to recognise patterns in a spread and over time becomes second nature to you, helping you to go off-book in any given reading.
  • You’re able to notice what higher forces are at play in your life at any given time.

If you are serious about mastering tarot, then you have to keep a tarot journal. No “maybe consider” or “well this is how I do it” or “whatever floats your boat.” No. You need to keep a journal. You need to log your trials and errors. You need to record your ruminations and then go back to update those ruminations as your understanding of tarot evolves.

All of that sounds awesome right?

This course takes all of the above and adds my secret sauce.

The way I do tarot journaling is not like how most people do it. I do something different.

Are you ready?

I don’t just have any old tarot journal, I keep a tarot bullet journal. A bullet journal not for habit tracking or tasks but for tarot!

Whoa, mind is blown!

Hold up, what’s a bullet journal? Well, the official Bullet Journal site defines it as: “a customizable and forgiving organization system. It can be your to-do list, sketchbook, notebook, and diary, but most likely, it will be all of the above.”

Why a bullet journal?

The best way to learn something and have it enter your long term memory is to:

  • Write it down and use colour codes to help your brain sort the information.
  • Be creative because engaging your creative side also helps your brain engage with the content.
  • Practice, practice, practice because the more often you do something the better you get at it.

Bullet journals tick all of those boxes! They are:

  • Creative
  • Easy to set-up
  • Organised and keeps everything in one place
  • Completely flexible
  • Amazing for keeping records and long-term tracking

And a bullet journal for tarot reading? OMG that’s a perfect match! You’ll have one place where you can:

  • Record study notes and your personal card meanings for your deck.
  • Track your daily draws to see how the card meanings apply to everyday circumstances and recognise larger forces at play in your life.
  • Not only record readings you do for yourself and others but track their accuracy.
  •  And so much more!

Plus, you know, they’re really nice to look at! It really motivates me to use tarot every single day when I draw and write in my tarot bullet journal, and see my tarot practice encapsulated so beautifully in colour!

Wouldn’t you love to be able to do that too?

Give me just 30 days and I’ll teach you how to create your very own quick and easy to use tarot bullet journaling system!
